LAWBREAKING BASE WORKER IDENTIFIED

June 14, 2001
Los Angeles, California --

Lawbreaking "Area 51" base worker (heretofore named only as "Mr. John Doe") against whom criminal charges of attempted vehicular manslaughter is to be filed in Lincoln County, Nevada, has now been identified by the Bureau of Land Management (775-289-1800) and also by Keith Rogers, reporter for the Las Vegas Review Journal. Mr. Rogers is said to be preparing to file the story on the Journal.

Anthony J. Hilder, one of the witnesses to the incident and who, together with Ted Gunderson, former FBI Senior Special Agent, is filing the charges, said today that the license plate of the "unrepentant" and "still defiant" base worker's Ford truck is Nevada 063 GUS.

"No apologies yet have come forward by this individual", said Hilder.

The individual has also been identified by Lincoln County Sheriff Dahl Bradfield (Tel. 775-962-5151) who is pressed to forward this information to Lincoln County District Attorney, Philip Dunleavy (Tel. 775-962-5171).
In the meantime, Hilder stated that Col. Ricardo Cazessuz, pro-temp Commander of Nellis Air Force Base (Tel. 702-653-4600) is said to be on top of the "internal investigations" on this matter.

Hilder, however, stated today that Lincoln County District Attorney Dunleavy now seems to be "stonewalling the case".
Dunleavy was quoted today as saying "we don't know whether charges will be filed".
"We are now asking all concerned tax-paying citizens in Nevada and eleswhere to help bring justice to this case by contacting these authorities. We are also contacting Mr. Daniel Sheehan, noted lawyer, to help us in this case", said Hilder.
