"I photographed the Blue Angels crash at MCAS Beaufort Saturday, April 21, 2007. Blue Angel 6 (Bu 162897) dove to the ground at about a 45-degree angle from about 300 feet as the team was setting up for their final maneuver. Unfortunately the pilot was killed. The crash scene was about four miles from my location into some trees. Reports say wreckage hit a house. I have created a gallery of pictures showing the aircraft flying a few minutes before the crash and a couple of pictures of the smoke in the trees.
