Your right, it may be on the cool side. A list of things to do most anytime could include a trip to the three main gates. At Cedar gate you could see the soviet radar site, the sam site, and the new Keno airstrip. Weapons school flys the ranges most of the year, so their is lots of stuff in the air. Some times they fly day and night. Lots of bombing runs at night. If you want to get some good pics pretty close up Texas Lake can be good as they may form up there before being ordered into the ranges and they may return there before recovery at Nellis. They fly pretty low in a racetrack pattern. If their is no snow or ice on Tikaboo it may present an opportunity for a climb. While the air is cooler sometimes you've got better visibility to the base.
