This post from milcom may be useful for those DLRers near Edwards and in socal who want to monitor the drop.

Hello Brian & fellow MilCom'ers,

Here is a small list of frequencies that I was able to put together from
several sources that should net some action during the X-43 launch scheduled
for this Saturday.

Keep your ears open or callsigns like "NASA-8" or check-in with ZLA of "NASA
008 with Hyper-X".

280.7 Pt. Mugu PLEAD Control

266.9 "BEAVER Control" (North)
272.6 "BEAVER Control" (South)
289.9 "BEAVER Control" (South)

The ZLA airspace for the FRONTIER, PLEAD and BEAVER warning areas is defined
as ZLA Sector #28 (all altitudes). ZLA Sector #30 is defined as high altitude
(don't know the cut-off altitude) airspace above LAX, San Diego to the
Mexican border, and costal points inbetween. Sector #30 frequencies may not
be used by the test flight & upport aircraft in this event.

The Edwards frequencies & NASA Ops may be used on the ground, and I have come
up with few air-to-air frequencies, especially for UHF. If anybody can come
up with some confirmed air-to-air mission frequencies for this test flight,
I'd sure be interested in getting them!
