Nellis Weapons School trains with NVGs, so blacked out planes are not unusual. If you had night vission, you might have seen a flashing or solid IR marker. The WS planes enter the range just north of Bald Mountain.

If there is a place you won't see something secret, I would bet it is from a room at the inn.
