I was in Granbury, TX that Thursday morning, just SW of Fort Worth. There were showers predicted with possible thundershowers but I don't recall any mention of severe. It did rain, on an off, until noon. By that time we were heading back to Houston. A fairly strong front came through Houston Saturday night with severe thunderstorm.
