I'm sure the one we lost over Yugoslavia has been extensively sampled. ;-) Incidentally, the planes may have armed guards, but we don't know the rules of engagement. Has anyone inspected the guards to see if they carry items a bit less lethal such as pepper spray? Maybe the bullets are the less lethal rubber variety. [I say less lethal because plenty of people die from rubber bullets.] I recall the U2's have guards as well when displayed. The globalhawk at the last two Edwards shows had lots of personel around it, but none armed.
