Send photos of your trip. I would like to go up to Lunar Crater as I hear the Apollo Astronauts trained there. Project Faultless sounds cool too. I Just don't need a dose of Cancer at this time in my life! Does anybody have any info on background radiation? I believe you can visit Chernobyl for short periods of time without "damage." So I'm sure it's just like a high altitude flight going there...

It's just getting too hot for those kind of trips right now. Camping up there sounds fun but not this time of year. Waking up "stewing" in your own juices, is not my idea of a good time. It's 102F in Las Vegas right now. I like it cold -uh, why'd I move here? !!!

Once again, water, Water, WATER!!! As much as you can fit into your car! Your car needs it as much as you do. Take enough to refill your radiator as well as provide for the people inside. There is an old Army saying, "Train hard, fight easy." In other words, prepare for the worst and you won't have any problems!
