Passing of A Great Aviation Writer

I was informed the shocking news this morning that Michael Dornheim, Aviation Week & Space Technology editor was killed in a car wreck.

Michael was a friend, tireless researcher and aviation journalist who contributed much of what we know about the history of modern aviation.

His insight into the black world combined with a skeptic's mind and ability to cut through the bullshit was a welcome voice of reason in a world rife with rumor, mis-direction, disinformation and speculation.

Sincere condolences to all who knew him and especially to the black world Interceptors who knew him best.

God's to speed Michael "Ayatolla" Dornhiem.

No he's gone on to measure the aerodynamic properties of angel wings.

He will be missed.
