A war in space being a certainty (as stated in the article) may not be the tradional type we are used to. Not as depicted in the cinema nor as history shows of set piece battles slugged out.

The very real threat of "war" may come from space tourism. As has just been shown when a cash strapped nation and a wealthy businessman get together. for the slender cost of $20 million US dollars a tourist (terrorist) could gain one international space station, one soyuz and one space shuttle. cheap at twice the price!

furthermore stage an "accident" and a terrorist could find himself landing on a nice, long, dry lake bed at a airbase we all love, courtesy of NASA.

Ok so my imagination is running away here. but $20 million is not alot of dough for a terrorist organisation to wreak alittle havoc.
