N36.21817 W115.02509 is roughly where you park behind the base. There is a guy who shows up on Sunday mornings and reads the tail numbers with a spotting scope from that location.

I haven't been to the baseball fields, but it looks like
36°12'28.30"N 115° 0'56.97"W from google earth. It's about twice the distance to the flight line.
