That's an unusually and incredibly hi res area of google earth! You can see people in the crosswalks.

Scroll south to Paradise and Flamingo or
north to Desert Inn and Swenson, you can
see occupants of convertibles.

I've seen an update in several spots in G-E lately.
My horses have "moved" since the previous aerial
of suburban Phoenix.
