The "military" that is being referred to here is
the Pennsylvania Army and Air NATIONAL GUARD and
Tri-State (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware)
Army and Air NATIONAL GUARD collectively.

THIS is indeed a portion of their function; to
protect private property from looting, assist local
law enforcement as necessary during civil disturbances, etc.

Fort Indiantown is a NATIONAL GUARD facility.
Been there. YUK.

As much as I have a rather disdain for the US Army
overall (except for the high caliber specialized troops) even those Dogfaces have it better than the Rag-Bag, Rag-Tag Sloppy Wannabe a Solider Goof-Balls of the Guard, which, MOST of us would shoot on sight
in actual physcial hostile COMBAT.
