Four hours (!) after I submitted an email query with a brief synopsis of my book to a respected New York Literary Agency, I was asked to provide the first three chapters, a more detailed description of the book, and a bio. The literary agent found the description of my book "intriguing."

I'm not holding my breath, but I can't help but get just a wee bit excited...
