There are two roads:

The road at mile marker 22.5 leads to the base of Bald Mountain, and to several gates there. Good views of the Bald Mountain radio site, but I don't think Red Flag viewing would be too good from anywhere on this road.

The other road, at mile marker 19.5, leads to some old mines in the northern Groom Range. It used to go past Andys Mine, over a saddle and into Sand Spring Valley, meeting the BackGate road a few miles west of Rachel. The section past the saddle has been washed out for years. But with a 4WD you should be able to make it to the saddle from the Tikaboo Valley side. There are a few sandy spots, and a washed out section about a mile before the saddle. You will need a 4WD with high clearance.
