That makes sense Andre'. I guess a first strike would be much more interested in strategic targets rather than tactical hits on R&D. Did you notice my response below on the "Oak Ridge" topic about mercury contamination? I am not exactly sure what mercury is used for in gaseous diffusion weapons production, but it must have a vital use with all of it lost in Oak Ridge over the years.
