The SU-27 Flanker theory is also a good one. I remember at the time of the Hauser sighting in 2001 many thought it was either a MiG-29 or an SU-27. If you get a chance, throw up a photo of that white SU-27, I don't believe I've seen it. My way of thinking is that if they're leaving it out during a sat pass, then it must be something that is somewhat "expendable". The Russians know we have their hardware at Groom Lake, and probably have known, at the very latest, since John Lear took that photo in the late 70's of the facility, that also included a MiG-17 on the tarmac. The thought process makes sense.
