Dec 07 10:09 AM US/Eastern PENNFIELD, New Brunswick - A plane reportedly crashed in flames Wednesday in the eastern Canadian province of New Brunswick. A local radio station quoted witnesses as saying the plane, described by some as a four-engine aircraft, apparently went down in the water near Pocologan, in southwestern New Brunswick. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said officers were investigating the report and searching the area of the reported crash. The federal agency Transport Canada said it had no reports of any missing civilian aircraft, and the Department of National Defense said a military aircraft was not involved.
