Normally if passengers are rebooked on another carrier the cancelling carrier should provided new carrier with list of 'selectee's (those that are supposed to have additional screening). Does not sound like this was done in your case. ....so, unfortunately everyone was screened! TSA, has missed items in the past..going through CTX machines. There are so many inconsistancies. My "beef" is that many passengers are contstantly whining about screening and procedures since 9/11. I say times are different since 9/11 and everyone just has to deal with it. No sense in getting upset because it does not do any good. It's a lot more intense when traveling overseas. We don't have it so bad here. It is what it is.
