I was driving around Henderson around noon today when I saw two sets of fighter jets on final approach to McCarren Intl. One looked like a European Tornado. Not uncommon for Red Flag at Nellis but why at McCarren? I better investigate! Yep, United Kingdom Tornados and Harriers parked by the General Dynamics Hangers just South of the Janets. Anybody know why they're here? I'll email a photo. Sorry it's poor quality, my camera is a cheapo and it was pretty far away :-( Gregos
