That was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I never expected to see an aurora in Tucson. Thanks to Art Bell for the heads up. The sky was rose-colored in the north with beams or bands of golden light periodically appearing. Amazing. Probably persisted for about 90 minutes to 2 hours. On the radio here they said it was seen as far south as Nogales, the Mexican border. People were calling the police apparently concerned there was a fire somewhere. Did anyone further south see it?
