Think of it this way. A TV screen is nothing but an array of pixels. You get too close to where you can see the pixels, and it doesn't look good. From a certain distance, the pixels blur together and you can see the image. A digital camera nor even 35mm film (much better than digital) would not look sharp 3ft tall. Just ask any pro photographer.

This has zero, nada, zip, to do with the quality of the image. There simply are not enough pixels. Science, pure and simple. Now if the image isn't good to the last pixel, things can only get worse.

It is easier to fight city hall than science.
