The silver ball in the photo was to the west of the warning signs along the bottom of "Cammo Hill". It seemed to me that it was merely placed on top of the post and not permanently affixed to it. There was a pretty decent breeze that day and it was moving back and forth like a bell. The sound it was making was what led me over to it.

When we went for a little hike in that direction, we were temporarily out of view from the Cammo Dudes. It didn't stay that way for long lol. We heard that diesel engine roar to life and could near them racing back and forth on Cammo Hill trying to find us. I thought they were going to go right over the edge to try to find us. I gave them a wave to let them know where we were just to be on the safe side.
