Janet Audio

I just reviewed the latest Janet audio (technically Groom tower and approach/departure). Military flights were under the callsign Philly. At one point, there was a flight of four fast movers. [Certainly not a plane under test.] The fidoe fix may be history. They were using fixes planet, pyramid, teddy, and abbie. There was a mention of glideslope, so I assume a localizer is present. Thus far, I haven't found the localizer frequency by scanning around the back gate hills. [Glideslope and localizer have specific paired frequencies.] I think a hike to Reveille Peak would be required to hear the localizer. Perhaps the other direction can be picked up from Mt. Charleston. Keyhole was in effect on 8/17, perhaps due to visitors at the NTS.

Next up, Red Flag audio analysis. Note that an EC-2 (Baja) was a player, and some sort of "after hours" party was done with Baja and a few of the flag aircraft.
