This particular flight originated in Newfoundland, Canada. The AN-124 flights are not restricted to the west. There have been AN-124 flights out of Gulfport (Ms).

I get a kick out of the Russian accent you hear over ATC. Plus it is kind of funny to see "the evil empire" flying freight to our USAF bases.
