B-1 out of Dyess? I know they do a lot of flying out west of Abilene. They often also fly at night and just shy of the sound barrier (don't want that sonic boom giving a heads up warning!) Altitude is a very tricky thing to guess. Since you don't know what size the object is that makes it even more difficult. But that's what makes it fun I guess.
