F/ADEC = Fully / Automatic or Advanced Digital Engine Controls... basically its similar to an advanced FBW system, only for the engine.

It makes minor adjustments to power settings and fuel mix and airflow etc to allow for various angles of attack and combat situations, thus allowing the pilot to concentrate more on killing his foe.
