The Trinity site is open twice a year. Google around for the info. I suppose there is still melt glass there, but the feds have been really careful lately about letting it leave te site. From what I understand, the glass itself isn't all that dangerous unless you happen to break it, creating a situation where particles could enter your body. Bob Lazar used to sell melt glass over the net. I've got a piece of uranium glass (similar to melt glass) in the garage and don't consider it a danger. It barely reaches 1mR/hr. It glows a healthy green under UV light.
