I looked at the last 6 months of civilian C17s landing at McChord. The C17s started showing up around 6/3/2005. Maybe it is a delivery of a new plane. What is more interesting (at least to me) is that the rent a bogies from Flight International use McChord quite a bit. These are the flights starting with IVJ. Most of the time they are at NZY. I took a photo of a McChord C17 landing at DRA, which may or may not be Groom related. I doubt it delivered much cargo as I just barely made it from the trail to Mt. Sterling (which I never really did find) to the border of the NTS. Maybe it was on the ground 15 minutes. There were two white busses to greet it.
