We do not publish classified material on this site. All material is from open source information that is available as unclassified and declassified documentation. The rest is speculation (not always accurate or productive, but often fun).

"Black" programs are not required to keep historical records and much has been lost or destroyed over the last 50 years. One-of-a-kind original documents and photos have been shredded and burned, often for no better reason than that it costs money to store them in a secure facility. Some items have been rescued while on their way to the shredder.

People who participated in classified programs often don't outlive the security restrictions they had to observe. Even when they do, historians are challenged to record their memories before they are lost to age-related ailments. These guys aren't getting any younger. The Roadrunners report that their attrition rate is now approximately one member per month!

We are striving to preserve the legacy of these Cold War heroes before it is lost forever. Once it's gone, it's gone.
