Hiyas! Just in case you're interested, the staff at AMARC get quite offended if it's called a 'scrapyard' - they like to think of it much more as a valuable 'regeneration' centre - reclaiming millions of dollars from spare parts, and returning stored aircraft into service - often with foreign armed forces... Anyone looking to 'tour' AMARC should not expect any great photographic opportunities - the windows on the bus used for the 1-hour drive-around are usually dusty & dirty, with only a small openable panel at the top. How we miss the old '5-hour' tours of the 1980's!!! Cheers,
BT (UK)
