Boeing pulled the YC-15 out of AMARC a few years ago. It's been sitting at Palmdale ever since.

The mate-demate device at Palmdale used to be at Vandenberg Air Force Base. It was moved to Palmdale after the Air Force abandoned its plan to launch space shuttles from Vandenberg.
