The idea of selling something from a crash site doesn't compute for me. I would hope that if such artifacts had to be removed from their resting places, they would be put on display in such a way as to allow many people to pause and think about the people who gave so much time, effort, energy, and sometimes their lives, to pioneering advances in military aviation and aerospace.

I've been able to walk under the A-12 at Wright-Patterson a few times. It's like a religious experience for me...You think about all the people who worked so very hard to make this amazing piece of machinery fly at the edge of space...

Ebay is better than trashing that stuff. But it's not much better.
