The airplane displayed at the 2002 Edwards Open House was not an F-35. It was the X-35B. Both of those photos were taken of the real X-35B the 2002 Edwards Open House. Neither photo is of a mockup. The F-35 mockup was displayed at a lot of airshows last year. It will be along time before a real F-35 is displayed anywhere.
