No, I was referring to strategic weapons systems.

weapon noun [C]
any object used in fighting or war, such as a gun or a bomb

from Cambridge Dictionaries.

In the strategic sense, Intelligence is part of a overall weapons system, therefore, any device used to garner Intelligence becoces an integral part of the strategic/tactical situation. Even a map.

It's broad definition, but I like it that way. We used to talk at some length about InfoWar and it's ramifacations on the battlefield.

If as is reported, the UAV program is trending towards an armed concept, anything in that field becomes a weapons system, in the broad definition.

Juat a thought, since you inquired.
