It's 3.2 miles inside the box from the northern border and about 10 miles from the base. I guess it wouldn't be fair to ground unit inside the box where the planes can't fly to attack it. ;-) For those playing along at home, the upper left corner of the box is at

Of course now this makes things more interesting since there is a small facility a bit north of Area 13.
