You asked about waste managment and I mentioned how you can see it on the NTS tour. I think there are photos of the facilitiy on the DOE website as well. Further, the NTS is on the old terraserver at 1 meter resolution, with real lon/lat info. Our budies, the honest Eagle Scouts at the USGS, have a website about the monitoring wells on the NTS, including the area 5 waste management.
