Ive been to that Chevron many times and have seen the same cameras. I used to think that they were used to protect themselves by recording the plate numbers of people who buy gas and leave without paying. I think if you count the diesel pumps on the north side they have 8 pumps to keep their eyes on. Now that I have read your post I probably have been wrong. Iam sure that the base has alot of interest on what goes on at the Chevron in Alamo. Iam thinking that if the aliens escape from their underground captivity that the first place they head is there to get Twinkies. With the cameras they can see them right away and can send the cammos to scoop them up.
