RAF Jaguars (from Coltishall in eastern England) stopped-off at the Azores on their way to Red Flag - Make the most of them - They're being retired next year! RAF Jags enjoyed great success in Gulf War 1 - although they lack radar, their 'visual' strike missions were extremely accurate! There should be 8 Jaguars attending Red Flag. Hope it helps?!
If you see them again, note the window just under the nose-mounted pitot tube, it houses the laser targeting system... The French versions don't have this distinctive glazing.
Note the slightly unusually-located missile rails above the wing; and the wirey 'arrestor hook' under the tail.
Cheers,
Bill T.
