If you do a google on "44-80", you can find the official aircraft recognition manual. The DOD keeps moving it around. I managed to come across a deck of cards with the images in the manual, though quite old. One of these days I'm going to figure out how to buy them from the GPO. The single tail fighers are most likely F16s. I can't think of any passenger jet with 3 enginers per side other than the an124 (cargo jet)
