The cammos are really completely uninterested in you as long as, like Joerg said, you don't cross beyond the warning signs. When I was there, my friend and I took photos of each other right in front of the signs, with the cammo dudes' truck on the hill in the background. We even took photos of each other standing underneath the big sign. Before we left, I walked as close to the invisible "line" as I could, knelt down, reached across, and picked up a rock from the forbidden side. This way I feel like I have something that is technically from the restricted area. It's my good luck charm when I play poker. :)

They'll keep an eye on you, but that's it.
