The History Channel will air "Modern Marvels: Edwards Air Force Base" on Friday, March 18.

Besides film footage of research aircraft from the X-1 to X-43, there will be a number of "walk & talk" interviews with historians and test pilots at various historic sites around Edwards.

An early shooting script mentioned "the Air Force Flight Test Center's remote operating location in Nevada," but now it looks like it will just be "a remote location."
