I believe that author is wrong about Delamar. Check out Freeman's website. The confusion is regarding the ghost town of Delamar, which is near Caliente, and the Delamar Dry Lake, which is a bit south of Alamo. Delamar Dry Lake is what the pilots call Texas Lake.
