Geez... why don't people scroll back through recent past threads before posting stuff in case it's already been covered...? I have seen the base - there are lots of domed antennae there. The only link it has to "son of star wars" or any other missile defence program is that it is a ground relay station for space based defence satellite communications. It is run as a joint facility by the US and Australia, and is primarily manned by NSA, DSD and other 'spooky' personnel. There are no weapons there except the M-16s and Steyrs carried by the security. CU
