Other high-speed drones (e.g. BQM-34 Firebee) are usually recovered by a two-stage parachute system. A drag chute slows the vehicle down, and then the main chute deploys for the descent. AFAIK, a "pull-up" maneuver is not involved (but I could be wrong). However, while a few dents in a Firebee airframe are no problem, the S.P. recovery would (I guess) have to provide for a means of retrieving the airframe completely undameged. Otherwise, you only get _one_ stealthy flight per vehicle ;-).
