plasma stealth

I was googling plasma stealth last night and think this one page article is a good summary. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is how plasma stealth will just ruin radio reception at "reasonable" frequencies. I doubt the weak signals for a GPS would make it past the hash. That leaves inertial navigation by dead reckoning or perhaps by the use of two non-directional beacons. There are three NDBs near Groom Lake. MCY at Mercury, PYD (unknow location, but probably Groom Lake) and XSD at the Tonopah Test range. Frequencies 326khz, 414kHz and 278kHz respectively. If the operation near Groom Lake ever tested such technology, I suspect they just used gyros (intertial navigation), but I wouldn rule out the NDBs since all these facilities have VOR.
