No, IMHO 2 weeks are not anywhere near enough. There are many good people in Rachel, but there is also a lot going on below the surface. It takes a while to figure that out... Land there is cheap, but developing it is expensive. People are generally helpful, but it can be quite a challenge to get things done in a timely manner.
