No, it can't autorotate in the traditonal sense.

However, it does have the advantage that, if one engine fails, power is diverted from the good engine to the bad prop via a shaft, so the a/c can still land, is controllable, and can even limp home if lightly loaded. In a CH-46, CH-47 or CH-53, if one engine fails, you put the thing down straight away!
