I saw the Red Flag movie again with BlackF150 and Bill W. [OK, technically we didn't all sit together since BlackF150 and Bill showed up late due to excessive saki imbibing.] BlackF150 pointed out that the movie must have been filmed over two flags since both foreign aircraft and stealth aircraft were present.

Clued in by buryme2007, I looked for computer generated images. There are a few scenes where I suspect the images are fake (all with the agressor force aircraft). The credits list CG and digital artists, as well as pyrotechniques.
