I drove to the front gate once in the snow. Nobody was on duty. I thought about honking the horn to get some attention, but I figured the cammo dudes would eventually put down the hot spiced cider and get in their trucks. The base sent the chopper first, to which of course I was grateful. Eventually the dudes showed up.

I suggest off-road tires and 4wd if you want to repeat this stunt. The interesting thing was the snow absorbed much of the background noise to the point where I could hear their radios "crackle".
